The Queen Victoria Women’s Centre is seeking expressions of interest from artists who wish to exhibit in its exhibition space.
Located at 210 Lonsdale Street Melbourne, the Queen Victoria Women’s Centre is an iconic Melbourne landmark that testifies to the enduring contribution of women’s enterprise to Victoria’s social, economic and cultural heritage. The gallery space on the ground floor of the QVWC is intended for exhibitions of artworks made by artists who identify as women.
There is no charge to artists for using the gallery space, visitors may enter free-of-charge and artists may offer their work for sale. Artists will be responsible for installing and removing their works, promoting their exhibitions and are not required to “sit” exhibitions. Please see the QVWC website (www.qvwc.org.au) for details and submit an application pack by email.
