Please note that our property will shortly be with new owners from late 2020. Due to the bushfires and pandemic, we are unfortunately not currently open. Please come back in 2021 :)
The restored historic farmhouse has numerous attractive architectural features - Gothic bargeboards, shaded verandahs encircling the home, a battlemented balcony - set in four acres of old established gardens with a magnificent courtyard and long views over the Jembaicumbene Valley. The gardens and exterior are available for events - what a perfect setting for a long lunch, photography or film shoot. Also ideal for onsite courses in photography & painting, with stunning, clear light playing on distant fields, and extraordinary skies for most of the year. There are numerous interesting rooms in the house which may be available for certain types of functions - a stunning Gothic revival library, gallery kitchen with 20' ceilings, & terraces & ancillary rooms around the sunken courtyard. The historic mill and the 1840s wagon barn are 100m across the garden, & the various buildings are often used in combination for larger events. Sorry, we don't host weddings or do accommodation as yet.
